Mr. Tobenna Erojikwe is a partner with The Law Crest LLP, a full service commercial law firm based in Lagos and heads its Energy, Finance & Major Projects Team. He holds an LL.B (Hons) degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2000. He was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2004. He also holds an LLM in Corporate Finance Law from the University of Westminster. In his over twenty years of legal practice, ten of which was spent in England, he has held notable positions and played significant roles including Senior Solicitor- Regeneration London Borough of Barnet, Legal Adviser to the London Borough of Barnet Urban Regeneration Board, Legal Adviser Mill Hill East Urban Regeneration Board and Legal Adviser London Borough of Barnet Pension Fund. In the last ten years, Tobenna has been involved in ground breaking Energy , PPP projects and corporate finance transactions in Nigeria and is listed as a leading Energy and Natural Resources Expert by Who’s Who Legal, the world’s leading legal directory.

He led the team of The Law Crest LLP that won the IFLR 1000 restructuring deal of the year for Sub-Saharan Africa in 2020. He is currently a member of the National Judicial Council and very recently served on the Enugu State Government Transition Committee. He is the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education of the Nigerian Bar Association. He has been a member of the National Executive Council of the NBA since 2018 and was the Chairman of the Technical Committee on Conference Planning of the AGC 2022.

He has served in various committees of the NBA including the General Purposes Committee, the Legal Education Committee and the Finance Committee. He was also the Chairman of the Policy Development and Project Implementation Team during the Olumide Akpata administration of the NBA.
