We are pleased to announce that kidnapped former Delta State Commissioner for Technical Education, Hon. Joan Onyemaechi has been released by her abductors.
She was a former member of the House of Representatives, regained her freedom late Friday night. It was learned that she had arrived at the Delta State capital and headed to an undisclosed hospital at the time of this report.
The abductors had earlier demanded N1billion ransom, but it was not clear if that particular amount of money was paid before she was released or not.
