The Crack Squad of the Delta State Police Command, on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025, arraigned one a landlord before Hon. Justice P. N. Obanor of the State High Court 7 Asaba, Delta State.
The case was brought to the attention of the International Federation Of Women Lawyers FIDA (NIG) Asaba, Branch and Jokol & Vivian Foundation. After paying her annual rent, a female tenant was repeatedly asked by her landlord, Desmond, to engage in a romantic relationship, which she refused. Unbeknownst to her, he had made a video recording of her while she was bathing.
He shared her nude photos online, breaching the VAPP Law of Delta State. He further assaulted the mother of the tenant, striking her in the eye ball. He was taken into custody by the Delta State Police Command.
He was arraigned on a Five-count charge bordering on Circulation of nude pictures/Videos by Electronic Means, threat to life among others.
The Judge ordered that the defendant be remanded at the Correctional Centre Ogwashiuku and thereafter adjourned the matter.
The Defendant was arrested by gallant officers of the Nigerian police Delta State Command attached to the Crack Squad.
