Abuja – The National Coordinator of socio-political group Eagle Watch Key, Mr. Cletus Kwalekeme, JP, has called on Nigerians across all geo-political zones to respect the rotational presidency arrangement between the North and South, describing it as key to fairness, peace, unity, justice, and equity.
Speaking after an executive meeting in Abuja, which includes Alhaji Mustapha Osose , the Secretary-General , Vivian Onukwufor Esq and other critical stakeholders at their head office in Abuja, Kwalekeme announced that the group will soon launch a new book titled Eagle Watch… chronicling the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to date.
“The gentleman’s agreement on power rotation must not be truncated for selfish interests,” he stressed.
Book Launch & Awards
• The book will be launched in Abuja (national event with national awards) and Port Harcourt, Rivers State (regional focus).
• In Port Harcourt, special awards will honour Niger Delta heroes and peace ambassadors who have contributed to the development of the South-South region.
Group Pledges Support for Niger Delta Development
Kwalekeme reaffirmed Eagle Watch Key’s commitment to engaging ex-militants and fostering unity between host communities and multinational oil companies. He insisted that President Tinubu’s administration remains fully committed to the non-negotiable development of the oil-rich Niger Delta.
He also commended South-South governors and security agencies for their efforts in tackling insecurity in the region.
Date for the dual book launches is yet to be announced.
