Recall that sometime on 1st May, 2025, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had declared 41-year-old Elie Bitar wanted in connection with fraud allegations linked to CBEX. The commission however, in its social media page says that following new evidence in the course of it’s investigation, there is nothing linking Ellie to the crime and so his name removed.
