Young Nigerian Rights Organization welcomes the release of human rights activist Victor Ojei aka Wonbox who was arrested and detained by the Nigeria Police Delta State and was subsequently charged to Court.
The unfair detention and treatment of Victor Ojei without access to family or a lawyer of his choice is part of the wider restriction of civic space and escalating crackdown on human rights in Nigeria.
His members were seen jubilating after he was released from the Ogwashiuku Correctional Facility, Asaba, Delta State.
