Ogun State athletes aggrieved by the non payment of their allowances have blocked the entrance to the games village, resulting in significant disruptions to the festival’s logistics.
According to IntelRegion, the protest, which began early today Wednesday morning, left scores of athletes from other states stranded, particularly those scheduled to compete in morning events.
