Recall that the Nigerian Bar Association NBA had last week Friday relocated the NBA Annual General Conference to Enugu due to what the NBA called “Unconstitutional Violations” in Rivers state. The NBA in its Press statement stated that the sole administrator operates in a “Commando style” that disregards the Courts and Constitutional provisions.
The sole administrator Ibok-Ete Ibas a retired vice-admiral was appointed by President Tinubu after sacking the governor of Rivers State Fubara.
In a response to the relocation of the NBA AGC from Portharcourt to Enugu, the Ete has asked the NBA to show integrity by refunding the N300m given to the NBA.
