    ‘We have informants and collaborators within the Nigerian armed forces’ – Gov. Zulum

    The efforts by the Governor of  Borno State, Babagana Zulum to curb insurgency and insecurity in the state are marred by the Boko Haram informants who are politicians, some in the army and security agencies Governor Zulum say.

    He made this known during an interview with the News Central’s Breakfast Central.

    “We have informants and collaborators within the Nigerian armed forces, within the politicians, and within the communities. What we shall do is to strengthen our intelligence and to deal with them ruthlessly.’

    He also urged the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to listen to the Army stating that in 6months time, insurgency could be a thing of the pass if not politicized.
